We are two brothers, Rob and Barry van Dijck, the involved leaders of design agency Staynice.
In 2007 we started our company, after graduating from AKV St.Joost, academy of fine arts in Breda, the Netherlands. Our characteristic work has drawn a lot of attention at the academy. We have both been nominated for the ‘St.Joost penning’, an award for most promising student. As a result of that nomination, we won a workspace for one year at artist space and gallery KOP in Breda. From that moment, Staynice is official.
Our motive is to leave something personal behind, something which lasts. Ever since we were young, we have felt drawn to this. The need for it has only become stronger.

Our ideal is to be in a constant search for perception. Like a child which passionate discovers new things ten times a day. To create something that is not there yet. To play with shapes and characters. We try to achieve a contemporary style for our assignments and our personal work, we try to translate digital esthetics to the physical world. Typography is in most of our work an important starting point.

The last few years we had the honor to have different national and international publications. For clients we have created several books and magazines, stationaries, posters, illustrations, websites, animations and so on. Also, we have participated in exhibitions in Holland as well as other countries. We think it's very important to be a part of such events, it gives us a chance to experiment and evaluate ourselves and our work.
At the beginning of 2010 our work was shown at the Graphic Design Museum in Breda.

We have our roots in the graffiti and street-art movement. This is directly shown in the unadjusted way we work, turned into a powerful visual style.
Our core business is printed matter. But also hand painted wall graphics are a very important part of our portfolio.

Pure perception is what drives us every day. Our creative work is an illustration of that perception.
From child’s drawing to graffiti, from poster to t-shirt, from wall painting to exhibition, from corporate identity to book. Each personal and recognizable, gladly left behind. Nothing prettier than creating good things which add up. Which are being perceived. Which stick somewhere.

We worked among others for the Graphic Design Museum in Breda, Mascotte rolling papers, Vodafone, Van Gils clothing company, KOP, AKV St.Joost, Royal GMF GOUDA, Royal Broese en Peereboom, G2 Amsterdam, Mezz, Shop Around!, Playgrounds festival, Breda Barst festival, city of Breda and 013.

We have no place for an internship at the moment.
